Overview
The ADA Advisory Committee is established by Chapter 2.88 of the Bremerton Municipal Code. Membership in the committee is ad hoc; the City’s ADA Coordinator is the Chair of the Committee. The Committee provides the following specific functions:
- Recommend appropriate modifications to City services, policies and practices to help implement the ADA.
- Report to the ADA Coordinator its concerns, or concerns brought to it by others, regarding possible non-compliance with the ADA, and make advisory suggestions as to any action to be taken.
- Assist the City in identifying the priority of issues related to the ADA, and assist in prioritizing improvements related to ADA transition planning.
Persons with disabilities are encouraged to join the Committee and attend Committee meetings. For information on the next Committee Meeting please contact Cathy Bonsell at 360-473-5717 or
