Bremerton Symphony Summer Youth Camp

Announcing 2019-2020 Youth Programs. Bremerton Symphony is pleased to announce the open enrollment of our Summer Camp and other Youth Programs for the 19-20 season! Our week-long summer camp, Sounds of Summer will run from July 22-26, 2019 culminating in a free community concert on July 27,2019 at Silverdale Antiques. Camps are open to all instrumental students ages 10+ with a minimum of one year of experience and conclude with a community concert. All programs are subject to minimum enrollment. Camp hours are 10 am- 3 pm at Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church, located at 700 Callahan Drive, in Bremerton. Financial assistance is available to families in need.

Other youth programs that will take place during the academic year include Chamber Players, Jazz Band & Big Band, and Rock Band. Our Youth Programs are led by Tigran Arakelyan and Derick Polk. Arakelyan joined us as Youth Music Director in 2018, and carries experiences as Music Director and Conductor of Port Townsend Community Orchestra, Federal Way Youth Symphony, and Bainbridge Island Youth Orchestras. Derick Polk is a retired Navy musician who has performed with jazz greats including Dizzy Gillespie and Clark Terry. Polk performs with various artists throughout the greater Seattle area and is currently a member of Bremerton Symphony Orchestra.
