Project Overview
Pump Station 14 was constructed in 1941 and supplies water from E240 zone to the E398 zone (East Bremerton). It also works in conjunction with Pump Station 11 to supply water to Reservoirs 12 and 13. After a landslide in 2012 nearly wiped out the existing Pump Station 14 building and damaged one of the pumps, a new site was identified to build a new pump station and retire the existing one.
The new pump station will be constructed near the intersection of Homer R Jones Dr and Wheaton Way, with two pumps for redundancy, a back up generator for emergency power outages and a public restroom.
Project Status (Updated March 24, 2023)
The contract was awarded to Prospect Construction. They have partially mobilized to the site and are preparing to perform site grading and off-site utility work.
