Due to a vacancy left when the previous Council Member resigned, Quinn Dennehy was appointed by the City Council on July 14, 2021 to fill the position until the November 7, 2023 General Election Results are certified.
Quinn Dennehy represents Bremerton City Council District 4 which includes neighborhoods near Downtown, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, and Olympic College.
In 2022, Quinn is Chair for the Race Equity Advisory Committee; Vice Chair for the Public Safety Committee; and serves on the Audit Committee.
Dennehy stated that his priorities as a Council Member will include “promoting small business growth, addressing housing affordability, and improving infrastructure in the city” and having specialized in civil rights law, “racial equity is also one of his top priorities…”
He further stated that he believes “Bremerton is a beautiful community and that it has so much potential, and I really want to be part of making sure long-time residents are able to stay here and live and work comfortably.”
