Bremerton residents, give input on the future of Wheaton Way (SR 303 Corridor)! Please join the City of Bremerton and Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) for an open house on the SR 303 Corridor on Tuesday, August 6th, between 4-7pm at the East Side Community Gym located at 3050 Wheaton Way in Bremerton.
A SR 303 Corridor Study is assessing the Wheaton Way area from Burwell Street to McWilliams Road, with a particular focus on the segments within city limits. The study will gather input from the public and make recommendations for creating better livability, safety, and economic opportunities along the corridor through:
- Reduction in serious injury crashes
- Improved travel time
- More pedestrian and bicycle connections
- Increased economic investment to bring in jobs and business
Please join us on August 6th to give input on problems facing Wheaton Way as well as ideas and suggestions for improvements.
Not able to attend the August 6th open house? You can participate in an online open house between August 5th and September 6th by visiting: www.SR303OpenHouse.com.
