Bremerton Bank Robbery and Attempted Bank Robbery
On 10/26/15 between 1445 and 1615 hours there was an attempted bank robbery and a successful bank robbery of two separate banks in the City of Bremerton. The first incident occurred on the eastside of Bremerton at the Key Bank on Wheaton Way. The second occurred at the U.S. Bank in the area of 6th Street and Naval Ave. A review of photos from both banks revealed that the same person is responsible for both incidents.
At 1447 hours a male subject entered the Key Bank to commit a robbery, the teller did not react quickly enough for the suspect so fled the bank. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Nothing was taken during the first incident.
At 1613 hours Bremerton Police Officers were dispatched to the U.S. Bank at 6th and Naval for a robbery. The same suspect from the earlier incident robbed the bank. The suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money during the second robbery. Officers, with the assistance of a Kitsap County Sheriff’s K-9 unit, are actively searching for the suspect. No weapon was used at either crime.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30’s, six feet tall or taller, with a thin build. Click here for pictures from both robberies. BPD is requesting the public’s help with identifying the suspect in these two incidents.
