No Burn Ban

The Kitsap County Fire Marshals office lifts the Stage 1 burn ban effective Friday, September 29, 2023.

Outdoor burning may resume subject to normal area limitations for the City Limits of Bremerton.

The only outdoor burning allowed in the City are recreational camp fires held in designated fire pits, not to exceed 3ft. in diameter. Recreational fires are defined as burning dry, cord firewood or charcoal. No burning of yard waste, leaves/branches, debris/garbage, scrap wood (pallets/lumber), or particleboard is allowed.

Recreational campfire pits may not exceed 3 feet in diameter, flames may not exceed two feet high, pits shall be located in a cleared area at a minimum of 15 feet from any combustibles; including building, fence, cars, etc. Fires must be occupied until extinguished and always have an extinguishing method readily accessible.
