COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Information

Effective Monday, March 16, 2020 - DUE TO COVID-19, the Department of Community Development will not be physically open to the public, but DCD’s staff will be available through phone and emails. DCD is still accepting, reviewing and issuing permits and are conducting inspections for essential businesses.

Please note, the City of Bremerton will adopt a building code change to the 2018 edition published by the International Code Council, effective February 1, 2021. Building permit applicants wanting to vest under the current 2015 code edition must have completed permit applications and all required documents submitted to DCD no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, January 29, 2021. (Due to the weekend)
