Sarah Steinke – Poet Laureate

Sarah Steinke is a poet, psychotherapist, and yoga instructor whose words hold the power of breath and silence alike. With an MFA in Poetry from the University of Washington and a chapbook Words Could Not Make It More True published by Finishing Line Press, her work bridges the sacred and the everyday. Sarah’s poetry was featured in Crab Creek Review, Hayden’s Ferry Review, and more. She explores connection, grief, healing, and the luminous in the dark. She has brought her voice to readings across Seattle and served as artist-in-residence at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Whether guiding breath through yoga or minds through therapy, Sarah meets each moment like a poem: fully present and fiercely honest.
